System logic & development process

Seven connected steps take an item from a quick scan all the way through to a completed, archived recovery.

  1. 01

    Generate personalized QR codes

Each registered account receives a unique QR code linked to its StickNSeek profile in the database.

  2. 02

    QR code detection

The camera scanner reads the code on a lost item and identifies its registered owner.

  3. 03

    Missing item registration

The finder submits item name, date, time, and location — automatically linked to the owner.

  4. 04

    GPS-based drop-off assignment

The system analyzes the finder’s location and recommends the nearest authorized drop-off point.

  5. 05

    Notification distribution

The owner receives continuous notification updates throughout the recovery process.

  6. 06

    Recovery tracking

The History feature lets both owner and finder track item status via auto-updated records.

  7. 07

    Completion & archiving

Once collected, the case is marked complete and moved to the Completed Activities archive.
